Registered Nurse (RN) - Orthopedics - $32-48 per hour

Job Summary Registered Nurse (RN) – Orthopedics. Full‑time night shift, ongoing staff position at Memorial Belleville Orthopedics Unit 1South (Belleville, Illinois). Sign‑on bonus of up to $15,000.00. Competitive pay with BSN differential, shift differential, and benefits eligibility. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with nursing standards. Promote patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment. Educate patients and families on illness or injury management, post‑treatment home care, and medication administration. Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Engage in professional development activities. Develop, implement, and document individual care plans with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family/caregiver. Ensure proactive planning and communication of the care plan across the continuum of care. Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, consider patient preferences, barriers, values, and cultural needs. Maintain a constant state of alertness and work safely as this is a safety‑sensitive position. Minimum Requirements Current RN license. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). No prior experience required; however, knowledge of orthopedics and/or medical‑surgical nursing is an asset. No supervisory experience required. Preferred Requirements BSN Degree.
