Registered Nurse - PACU

$2479.01/week - Job Summary: Adaptable and dedicated Endoscopy RN sought for an 8-week contract to support endoscopy procedures. This role involves patient care in procedural and diagnostic settings with a focus on complex specialized techniques. Responsibilities: Administer patient care during endoscopy procedures, including EUS, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and related interventions. Perform phlebotomy and IV placements with mandatory competency. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation in EPIC and ensure adherence to charting protocols. Respond to on-call requirements during weeknights, weekends, and holidays, approximately 4-6 shifts per month. Float between units as needed to support procedural demands and staffing needs. Qualifications: Hold a valid NY RN license in hand. Possess at least 1 year of recent PACU or endoscopy experience. Demonstrate proficiency with phlebotomy and IV insertion. Have current BLS and ACLS certifications. Be able to complete required modules prior to start, with up to 5 hours billable. Experience with EPIC charting software is mandatory.
