SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY/INFO SYS)

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to a Tier 0 Deployment & Assignment Sustainment Sect. Learn more about this agency Duties Help Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Deployment and Assignment Sustainment Section ensuring that Deployment and Assignment system sustainment actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Represents the Deployment & Assignment Sustainment Section with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Provides advice and technical expertise to leadership on deployment and contingency support requirements. Serves as the AF BPO for all AF military personnel data and personnel systems in all areas pertaining to airman assignments. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

- Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
- Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
- Centrally Managed: PCS Authorized
- This is a Supervisory Position. A 1-year probationary period is required if applicant selected has not previously met this requirement. This position meets the supervisory exemption criteria of the Fair Labor Standards Act (5CFR.204)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
