What You’ll Do

• Perform pathology support for a busy hospital supporting 18,000 surgical cases and 4,000 cytology cases annually
• Support staff including assistants and pathology team members
• Conduct gross examinations, frozen sections, and histology procedures
• Perform immunohistochemistry tests in-house
• Review and interpret biopsy and surgical specimens, including GI, lymphoma, GYN, breast, and lung cases
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses
• Use Cerner EMR and Voicebrook Dictation System for documentation

What You Need

Required:

• PA State Medical License, Board Certification in Pathology or eligibility (e.g., board eligible/BE)
• 1-2 years of relevant experience, fellowship training preferred
• Ability to perform FNA, immunohistochemistry, and histotech procedures

Preferred:

• Experience with GI, fluids, lymphoma, GYN, breast, lung pathology
• Ability to support pathology team and handle a high-volume workload
