Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry/ICCU unit, monitoring and responding to cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including TEE and Cardioversion
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health records system
• Float to other units as needed in accordance with facility floating policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License — Temporary licenses will not be accepted
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience on a Telemetry unit
• Minimum 2+ years of travel nursing experience
• Must be willing to float per facility floating policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system strongly preferred
• Familiarity with TEE and Cardioversion procedures
