Registered Nurse (RN) - Night ShiftLocation: MaineAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: Nights, 7 PM - 7 AMJob Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients of all age groups. The RN will perform nursing assessments, develop and implement patient care plans, and effectively communicate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN will also maintain a safe and supportive environment while complying with hospital policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesConduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments appropriate for each patient age group.Complete discharge assessments and develop discharge plans.Prioritize and deliver nursing care based on patient needs and physician orders.Execute nursing actions aiming to achieve patient care goals.Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care and progress.Document patient care activities according to established standards and policies.Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for drug administration and patient education.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.Maintain patient safety and manage the physical environment for wellness.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCurrent RN license in Maine or compact state.BSN preferred.BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.Compliance with immunization policies including varicella, HepB, MMR, and Tdap.Ability to lift and assist patients and manage physical demands of the role.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
