Exciting Opportunity for a CVOR Nurse!

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic team with flexible shift options:
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (06:50 AM - 03:20 PM) or 10-hour shifts (06:50 AM - 04:50 PM).
- Potential for variable start times based on department needs.


- Experience the thrill of working in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR):
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience desired.
- Opportunity to engage in general cases if no CVOR cases are available.

- Call and rotation opportunities:
- Participate in rotating call during weekdays and weekends as needed.
- Holiday call hours based on department needs.

- Credentials required:
- Valid nursing license verified through Nursys.
- Additional documentation needed for onboarding.

- Comprehensive onboarding process includes:
- Ascension Specialty Exam (for onboarding)
- Ascension Core Competencies (for onboarding)
- Ascension EKG Exam (for onboarding)
- Personal health history requirements including:
- MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Varicella, Tdap
- Fit Test, 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot), Positive PPD with negative chest X-ray


- Professional requirements:
- Ascension Criminal Background Check
- Ascension Education Verification
- Ascension Employment Verification
- Ascension Skills Checklist

- Guaranteed 40 hours per week with a commitment to workforce needs and flexibility.
