About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its Risk Solutions Group. The COO will serve as a strategic partner to the Head of Risk Solutions, overseeing daily business operations, and administration, and implementing business strategy to optimize operational capabilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and strategic execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading financial planning and management, balancing revenue and financial operations, and diagnosing operational flaws to improve scalability and control. Additionally, the COO will be involved in business strategy and execution, financial management, commercial leadership, operational efficiency, and business management, as well as technology and transformation, and people and talent management. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a strong background in financial services, with a focus on risk management and a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape. The role requires a leader who can inspire entrepreneurship, elevate organizational capability, and foster a culture of inclusion. The ideal candidate will be a proficient user of third-party vendor platforms and have experience in managing a multi-tiered staff, setting policies, and goals, and overseeing recruitment and training programs. The COO will also be responsible for partnering with HR to enhance employee engagement and support diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. A strategic thinker with the ability to make sound decisions, the COO will be instrumental in driving the company's commercial success and ensuring its operations are in line with strategic objectives.
