Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
The Travel Sonographer will provide ultrasound imaging services across various units, performing both general and vascular ultrasounds. This role involves operating advanced equipment and collaborating with medical teams to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pregnancy, vascular, and other specialized scans.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment such as GE Logiq e10, Parks Flo Lab, and intra-cavitary probes.
• Accurately document procedures and findings within the EMR system, ensuring compliance with protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient care and image quality.
• Join rotating on-call shifts to provide coverage outside regular hours.
• Adhere to unit policies, maintain safety standards, and ensure proper disinfection of ultrasound probes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RDMS (AB or OB) and RVT (VT) or RVS credential.
• Possess BLS certification.
• Have at least 1 year of ultrasound experience, including vascular and obstetric procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ultrasound equipment and technology.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a fast-paced environment.
