The Role:

• Location: Mechanicsville, VA 23116
• Shift Type: Days. Regular Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. On-Call (Weekday Evenings): Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM. On-Call (Weekends): Saturday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM.
• In House Call: Yes - on-call weekday evenings and weekends as listed above.
• Cases: Balloon Angioplasties; Coronary Angioplasty; Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI); Heart Catheterization; Medical Management of Vascular Disease; Coronary Angiograms; Embolic Protection; Carotid Artery Stenting; Atherectomy
• Site Charting System: EPIC
• Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day: 2 daily
• Total Number of Beds: 250
• Number of ICU Beds: 30
• Number of Interventional Cardiologists in Group: VCS 18 I.C.s (approx. 4 I.C.s cover MRMC); RHV 5 I.C.s
• Will Other Interventional Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage: Yes
• Will the Locum Physician be Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers: No
• Patient Age Demographic: Adult, geriatric
• Call Ratio: 9 VCS to 7 RHV (TBD)
• Facility reimbursement for travel: Flight, Hotel, Rental Car
• Submission requirements: Board Certified; BLS/ACLS; Active VA state license; Clean malpractice insurance; Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within 30 days); Must be available for listed dates; Must be able to provide at least 50 interventional case logs from the past 12 months; At time of name clear, indicate prior work at the facility if applicable (facility name, last date worked, agency)
