Location: Hybrid / Ipswich, UK job type: Permanent / Full-time Sector and subsector: Medical & Healthcare | Clinical AnnualFixed salary: £ 40000.00 Functional Assessor £40,000 per year Monday–Friday Applicants must live within a 90-minute commute of Ipswich with minimum 3 days on site.

What You’ll Be Doing Conducting structured telephone, video or face‑to‑face assessments Exploring how a claimant’s condition impacts their daily living Reviewing and interpreting clinical evidence Producing detailed, high‑quality written reports Applying professional judgement in line with regulatory standards Working towards quality and productivity targets Delivering assessments in a respectful, fair and reassuring manner This is an analytical, report‑focused role. It suits clinicians who enjoy critical thinking and structured environments.
