You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, help reduce security-related incidents, and provide strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.92 - $17.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, trailers, docks, and/or facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gate areas, parking lots, and/or loading zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support traffic flow and visitor management by directing arrivals, maintaining access logs, and communicating with site contacts regarding security-related procedures and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
