This position is located at 1300 South Dean Avenue, Raymore, Missouri, 64083 United StatesA Trainer is an expert in all aspects of warehouse operations. Their main responsibility is to train and develop all hourly employees, both at the beginning and on an ongoing basis. They work closely with operational leaders to identify areas where training can improve the quality of work and performance of all employees. As motivated team players with a positive attitude, they possess excellent communication skills and always show respect towards others.E58 Inspections Trainer: Monday - Friday (5:30pm - 2:00am)E410A Audit Trainer: Sunday - Wednesday (5:30pm - 4:00am)E410B Audit Trainer: Wednesday - Saturday (5:30pm - 4:00am)Provide training for individual or group settings to new hires as well as tenured employees.Possess excellent communication skills and ability to explain tasks to others.Assist with new hire orientation, onboarding processes, and safety compliance.Monitor and report on training, productivity, and accuracy of new hires.Ensure new hire, re-training, and cross-training are completed per SOPs and work instructions.Deliver PIT certifications and evaluations.Uphold a respectful workplace environment while encouraging team collaboration.Support all other duties as assigned by operational leadership or as business requires.Able to operate department-specific technology to execute and train on job tasks i.e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens.Support all other duties as assigned by operational leadership or as business requires.Must be 18 years or olderHigh school degree or GED a plusComprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standardsPossess time management and organizational skillsWorking knowledge of warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker)Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a team environmentAble to work with minimal supervisionAble to keep confidential information privateBi-lingual preferredMaintain acceptable attendanceand must be able to work overtime as requiredPhysical Requirements:Stand and walk throughout a shiftClimb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periodsReach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 poundsOperate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements.URBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
