This position is not remote and will be based from Phenix City, Alabama.About the PositionActively support the company IT operations throughout U.S. utilizing strong PC and network knowledgeEfficiently and effectively troubleshoot and resolve technology issues by phone and/or remote-control toolsCommunicate with users to provide positive results and excellent user experienceCoach and demonstrate for users best practice problem-solving methodsBuild, diagnose, and repair PCs, laptops, and printersEfficiently and conscientiously manage an inventory of computer components and suppliesAddress various and concurrent issues with timely and effective resolutionUnderstand file/folder sharing, device sharing, and permissionsTroubleshoot various network and Wi-Fi issues to completionWork effectively within a Help Desk covering multiple time zonesInstall and support Microsoft, IBM i, and other business software and licensingQualificationsTwo years' computer and network problem-solving experience (commercial/large network environment a plus)Knowledge of Windows Desktop, Server operating systems, Microsoft Azure, and Active Directory/Entra IDExperience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and ExchangeWorking knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Group PoliciesFamiliarity with remote connection to a business network: VPN, Wi-Fi, WANs, & LANsExperience with Zebra label printers is preferredCCNA and/or A+ certifications or equivalent education is recommendedBusiness network, wireless, and VOIP skills preferredKnowledge of anti-virus software and other desktop security products is preferredAbility to successfully work both independently and in a team environmentWhy Join Our Team?
