Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (5:45 AM – 6:15 PM) | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting in accordance with established clinical standards and protocols
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and responses to treatment throughout the shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior experience in a medical/surgical nursing environment
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a rotating 3-day-per-week schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a rehabilitation hospital or post-acute care setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• ACLS certification is a plus
