Senior Manager, Government Relations

Korn Ferry is conducting a search for a Manager, Government Relations on behalf of a global industry leader with significant investments across advanced technologies, semiconductors, energy, and innovation-driven sectors. This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape policy at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data centers, semiconductor supply chains, and emerging technologies . The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute legislative and regulatory strategies that support business growth and long-term policy objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze federal and state legislative, regulatory, and political developments impacting AI, technology, and advanced manufacturing.
• Support advocacy efforts with Congress, the White House, and regulatory agencies.
• Develop policy briefings, strategic recommendations, and executive communications.
• Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, trade associations, industry coalitions, and key stakeholders.
• Partner cross-functionally with business leaders to align public policy priorities with corporate strategy and technology initiatives.

Ideal Background:

• 5+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, Capitol Hill, trade associations, consulting, or corporate government relations.
• Strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory process and experience engaging with policymakers.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence, data centers, semiconductors, technology policy, or related sectors.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex policy developments into clear business implications and actionable recommendations.
