We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who takes pride in preserving excellence.Compensation: $19.00 hourlyPosition OverviewThe Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring our historic luxury property operates seamlessly. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity, safety, and aesthetic excellence of guest rooms, public spaces, and building systems, upholding the refined standards expected of a five-star boutique hotel.This is not simply a maintenance role; it is a stewardship of craftsmanship, detail, and guest comfort.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systemsRespond promptly and professionally to guest service calls and room maintenance requestsMaintain pristine condition of guest rooms, corridors, and public areasConduct routine inspections to proactively identify and resolve issuesSupport upkeep of historic architectural elements with care and precisionAssist with light carpentry, painting, drywall, and finish work to luxury presentation standardsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policiesCoordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to ensure seamless guest experiencesQualifications2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or a luxury environmentStrong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and discreetlyExceptional attention to detail and commitment to high presentation standardsProfessional demeanor with guest-facing confidence a must.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededPreferred AttributesExperience maintaining historic propertiesPreventative maintenance certification or trade credentialsStrong organizational skills and pride in craftsmanshipAt The Faust Hotel, every detail matters — from the soft glow of lighting to the quiet efficiency of our mechanical systems.
