Job Title Project Programming Lead Location Morristown, NJ About the Job As Project Programming Lead within the Vaccines Biostatistical Sciences team, you will lead the scientific programming of large or multiple small projects across the vaccine portfolio. You will oversee all programming activities for late‑phase clinical development projects or early/post‑marketing projects, providing technical and operational leadership, ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements, and managing outsourcing operations. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related health science field. 7+ years of hands‑on experience in SAS and R programming. Proficiency in CDISC standards (SDTM/ADaM) and regulatory submission requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Proven success performing, coordinating, and overseeing the preparation, execution, reporting, and documentation of study‑ and project‑level programming deliverables in a global setting. Experience dealing with third‑party vendors and managing outsourcing engagements. Demonstrated leadership with interpersonal skills necessary for effective teamwork in a multicultural environment. Ability to embrace and lead change, innovate, and improve team practices. Experience implementing automation and digital transformation initiatives. Fluent in English; additional languages a plus. Responsibilities Lead scientific programming deliverables, providing guidance and hands‑on support to ensure high‑quality, timely outputs. Manage project planning and resources, including tracking timelines and resource utilization in a global setting. Maintain standardization and consistency across specifications and programming deliverables for individual studies and integrated analyses. Drive regulatory submission activities, including electronic submission packages and ensuring CDISC data packages comply with Health Authority expectations. Oversee outsourcing engagements and guide team interactions with external resources. Collaborate cross‑functionally with project statisticians and participate in clinical project meetings. Contribute to process improvement and oversee outsourcing operation management, coordinating CRO partnerships from a business perspective and ensuring operational quality and timely delivery. Mentor junior staff on programming techniques and standards implementation. Compensation Salary range: $122,250.00 – $176,583.33. Compensation will be determined in accordance with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in company benefit programs.
