Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU Tele Step-Down, Nights (3x12) in Brunswick, Georgia, United States. Travel assignment starting 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,648 to $1,692 per week. This assignment is in a high-acuity tele step-down unit providing post-ICU care with drips and stable ventilation, no vasopressors required. Cerner charting is used for documentation. Clinicians must be comfortable floating to Tele-M/S units as needed; fast-paced environment that requires independent, proactive care.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients in a tele step-down/high-acuity unit, focusing on post-ICU recovery needs
- Monitor vitals, manage medications and drips per protocol, and respond rapidly to clinical changes
- Support patients with stable ventilator settings as needed and assist with ventilator-related tasks within scope
- Perform ongoing patient assessment, implement care plans, and document in Cerner
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and coordinate with PCTs to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
- Maintain patient safety, adherence to infection control standards, and prepare for timely handoffs during shift changes
- Maintain independence in a fast-paced environment while following unit guidelines and physician orders

Requirements
- Experience in tele-step-down or high-acuity inpatient care, post-ICU recovery preferred
- Cerner charting experience or demonstrated ability to learn quickly
- Comfortable floating to Tele-M/S units and working with PCT support
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Availability to begin on 07/20/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment
- Effective communication skills and collaboration with the healthcare team
