Mortgage Loan Post Closer

Salary Range: $23 - $33 per hour depending on qualifications and experience Are you detail-oriented, organized, and interested in building a career in mortgage operations? First International Bank & Trust is seeking a Mortgage Loan Post Closer to join our Mortgage Operations team. This role helps make sure completed mortgage loan files are accurate, complete, and ready for the next step in the lending process. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys reviewing documents, following processes, solving small details before they become bigger issues, and supporting a team behind the scenes. Previous mortgage experience is helpful but not required. If you bring strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn, we are willing to train the right person. This is an on-site role located at our Minot North Hill branch. Key Responsibilities: Review completed mortgage loan files for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation after closing. Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent items and work with the appropriate team members or partners to help resolve them. Prepare loan files for investor, agency, and partner delivery, helping ensure files are organized and ready for review. Track final documents, recorded documents, title policies, insurance items, and other post-closing requirements. Support loan purchase, funding, insurance, guaranty, and other post-closing activities that help move loans through the final stages of the process. Communicate with internal teams, title companies, investors, and third-party partners to keep documentation moving and outstanding items on track. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in banking, lending, mortgage, title services, accounting, administrative support, customer service, documentation review, or a related field preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documents accurately. Organized and able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines. Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and requirements. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business systems.
