About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to serve as its senior nursing executive and a key member of the Clinical Leadership Team. The CNO will be responsible for leading nursing practice, clinical support operations, workforce strategy, patient safety, and evidence-based standards across all sites. This role involves setting and ensuring the implementation of goals, policies, and protocols to maintain safe, high-quality care. The CNO will also oversee various clinical and operational aspects, including infection prevention, medication safety, and emergency preparedness, and will be accountable for access, quality, staffing, productivity, and patient experience. Candidates for the CNO position at the company should have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a current, unrestricted Texas RN license, and at least 7 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, with a focus on multi-site ambulatory, primary care, or community health operations. A Master’s degree and relevant certifications are preferred. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement, as well as experience with FQHCs, HRSA, FTCA, PCMH, UDS, HEDIS, and value-based care. Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills are essential, as is the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. The CNO will also be responsible for maintaining regulatory and survey readiness and fostering a culture of quality, transparency, and inclusion.
