Part-Time Dental Assistant

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour

Job description:

We are looking for an energetic Dental Assistant to join our team and provide quality care to our pediatric patients. The ideal candidate may have little experience in the dental field, but must be willing to learn and should be comfortable or open to working on young patients. He or she will need to have a friendly personality, knowledge of variety of dental instruments and have excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing patients for treatment, and providing post-treatment care instructions. Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for dental treatment.
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments.
• Take radiographs- must hold an active Maryland Radiation Technologist License
• Provide patient education about oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Maintain patient records and documents.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient accounts.
• Perform basic laboratory procedures.
• Help with phone calls and office marketing goals
