Physical Therapist

Children FIRST Therapy in Spokane Valley is in search of a part time Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our Early Support Services Therapy program for children birth to age 3. Experience in early childhood therapy is required. We incorporate play in the therapy process in our unique classrooms; we also meet with families in the home and provide services in childcare settings or in the community. 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday onsite with potential for hybrid work schedule after training is complete. Responsibilities Conduct initial evaluations for Physical Therapy Services Complete all 6 month and annual review updates and write reports in the Electronic Health Record system Provide Physical Therapy services in preschool, therapy groups, in home, & in community including pool therapy Build positive relationships with all families and children Document all services provided in Electronic Health Records system Document all contacts and attempted contacts in communication log of Electronic Health Records system Encourage parent participation in home visits and in parent participation therapy groups Attend monthly Multidisciplinary and Therapist Team meetings Communicate and build positive relationships with fellow staff Work collaboratively with management, educators, Family Recourses Coordinators and other therapists Attend relevant professional development trainings Must be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs and be able to bend and stoop on a regular basis Other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to work anywhere in Spokane County Must be able to communicate in a team environment Must have a reliable vehicle with valid insurance and driver license and be able/willing to commute to offsite visits and meetings. Must be able to pass a criminal background check prior to hire, including FBI finger printing. Doctorate Required Pay Rate Hourly rate of $40-45. The Company typically hires at the lower end of the range to allow for internal growth/or advancement opportunities.
