Manufacturing FAB background -A manufacturing fab is a specialized facility where microchips, semiconductors, and integrated circuits are built on silicon wafers.

NET Developer, ON-SITE Position - OICG Sunnyvale, CA

Work Location : Sunnyvale, CA, USA

Candidate will be required to work onsite at Nokia Sunnyvale CA FAB. Must be onsite 3 Days Minimum and available in-office / FAB when needed.

This is a 1-year contract position, with the potential for additional 12 month extension.

Candidate must have 5+ Years in .NET development with Manufacturing / FAB background

Seeking skilled and proactive .NET Developer with strong technical expertise in .NET development and proven ability to lead the end-to-end software development and deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET 6+, .NET Framework 4.7 +, .NET Blazor, WinForms, WPF, MVVM, Bitbucket.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance .NET applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Implement and enhance front-end user interfaces using modern UI technology.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.

Technical Requirements

• Must have experience in C#.NET, VB.NET, WPF, MVVM, WinForms, .NET Blazor, LINQ, ADO.NET, .NET Core, .NET 6+, Design Patterns, Visual Studio 2019+, Git/Bitbucket.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills
• Developing Rich User interface, Web Applications and Desktop Applications.
• Databases Oracle, SQL Server
• Must have experience in developing, maintaining, testing, debugging, and hosting win & web applications
• Experience dealing with hardware devices and/or Semiconductor devices process manufacturing will be an asset
• Superior analytical, problem solving and engineering skills
• Strong leadership, project management & communication skills
• Quick learner, Self-motivated & ability to take application ownership

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SEMI Standard communication protocols - SECS/GEM, Modbus TCP
• Experience in developing and managing SPC software
• Configure and communicate with hardware devices like NI DAC I/O, Advantech remote IO, NPorts (serial to ethernet server)
• Good understanding of database design and application development using stored procedures (PL/SQL, T/SQL)
• Knowledge of Micro services, Visual Code IDE, MySQL, Maria DB, C, C++.
• Experience in dealing with internal clients
• Scripting experience on Linux Bash, Windows PowerShell / Batch
• Experience in Python and Java would be big plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ plus years of experience in above mentioned technologies
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Additional Requirements

Candidate must work Sunnyvale CA site In-Person
Candidate must
Required to be ON-SITE a minimum of 3 days per week to support FAB
Must be available in the office and FAB when needed
Must have 5+ Years Experience in .Net development and FAB background
Must be legally authorized to work in the US and W2 worker of the supplier at time of submittal
This position is scheduled to be a 1-year contract position with possibility of additional extension.
MUST have prior written approval from Nokia Line Manager before working overtime
