We are excited to train the right candidates for our team!A Day in the LifeA barista is responsible to ensure that our customers have the best experience possible!Duties & ResponsibilitiesGreet customers, take orders, prepare and serve beverages, as well as various food offerings, in accordance with established service standards (i.e. coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, pastries)Performs shift opening and closing duties as assignedClean, sanitize and maintain the storeEnsure proper food handling procedures are followedStock and replenish food, beverages, and utensils as neededEfficiently serve customers by being knowledgeable of offeringsStay up-to-date with personalized online trainingCommunicate with baristas, store manager and shift leadsAdditional duties as assignedThe Washington, Indiana store is targeted to open in late October or early November 2025. Paid training will occur prior to store opening.You are applying to work with a franchisee of Scooter's Coffee. If hired, the franchisee will be your only employer. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own terms of employment, including wage, training, and benefit programs, which can vary between franchisees.Workdays are Monday-Sunday and holidays.
