This role will manage the purchasing of electrical, structural, and mechanical materials used in custom industrial equipment manufacturing, while working closely with Engineering, Estimating, Production, and Scheduling.PLEASE NOTE: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Visa sponsorship is not available.Responsibilities:Source and purchase electrical, mechanical, and structural materialsObtain competitive quotes and negotiate with suppliersManage vendor relationships and performanceReview engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specificationsTrack material availability, lead times, and critical-path itemsCreate and manage POs and purchasing activity within an ERP systemPartner with Engineering, Production, Estimating, and Scheduling to ensure materials arrive on timeQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience in industrial or manufacturing is requiredAbility to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specificationsFamiliarity with industrial electrical and mechanical componentsStrong negotiation, organization, and vendor-management skillsERP experience is required - Acumatica experience preferred
