Job Description
Join Our Dynamic ER Team!


- Shift Details:
- 12-Hour Evening Shift
- 3 PM Start Time
- 2 Weekends per 4 Weeks
- Holidays as Needed

- Unit Highlights:
- Fast-paced Emergency Room with 33 Patient Care Rooms
- 25 Rooms Equipped with Cardiac Monitors
- Triage Area with 2 Bay Staffing
- Supported by Experienced Charge Nurses 24/7

- Essential Qualifications:
- Must have Cerner EMR Experience (please indicate on your resume)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Ability to manage ratios of 1:4 with an average of 210 patients

- Technical Specs:
- Nursing Staff Supported by ER Techs with EMT, MA, or CNA Backgrounds
- Telemetry through GE with Central Monitoring Stations

- Orientation and Training:
- Up to 6 Shifts with a Preceptor for Floor-Specific Orientation
- Hospital Modules Introduced During Orientation

- Patient Care Focus:
- Treat Various ER Cases while Collaborating with Hospitalists and Intensivists
- Strong Documentation Skills Required
- Experience with STEMIs and Hemorrhagic Strokes Preferred

- Work Environment:
- No Floating Outside the ER
- Robust Support from RT and Pharmacy Teams Available 24/7
- Adhere to EMTALA Regulations for Patient Care

- Uniform Policy:
- Navy Blue Scrubs Required
- Scrub Jackets and Undershirts Must Align with Color Guidelines
