Installer (Commercial Furniture Installer & Mover)

Continental Office, a Creative Office Resource Company, is seeking an Installer to join our Commercial Furniture team in Columbus, OH. Continental Office offers TOP HOURLY PAY , with a minimum hourly wage of $20/hour and up, based on experience. We also offer a $1,000 Sign‑on Bonus paid after 30 days of employment. What you’ll love to do: Contribute to the exciting new developments and existing projects happening in Columbus through moving and installing furniture solutions in a variety of spaces and facilities. We are looking for someone with a valid driver’s license and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, teamwork‑driven environment. Installers must also be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, depending on individual client needs. Responsibilities Operation and off‑loading of 26‑foot automatic box truck Commercial office furniture staging and assembly Interacting with customers upon delivery and installation Minor repairs and/or touch up as needed Maintain a safe and clean work environment Skills/Qualifications Valid Driver's License and the ability to train on driving a 26‑foot box truck is required. Current DOT certificate is a plus; willingness to obtain a DOT certificate is required. Knowledge of office furniture experience is desired. Skilled use of basic tools. Ability to work in a team environment or alone. Ability to demonstrate reliability and dependability. Candidate should have excellent organization and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Must be willing to submit to a background check including drug screening, criminal and driving record checks.
