About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Affiliations and Networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of the strategic plan, with a focus on growth strategies to expand the company's presence in local, regional, and national markets. This includes leading efforts to establish and operationalize affiliated programs with healthcare organizations that promote clinical collaboration in patient care, research, and education. The role involves setting strategic direction, network operations, and managing acute-care specialty and subspecialty affiliations. The AVP will also be accountable for the daily operations of the division, personnel supervision, and ensuring that the affiliated programs generate measurable educational, research, and quality outcomes in line with the company's academic mission and reputation. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a related field, with a healthcare concentration strongly preferred, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in hospital operations, including at least 3 years at the administrative leadership level. The role requires the ability to lead effectively in a matrixed organization, strong leadership and management skills, and knowledge of physician practice management, clinical operations, research practice, and healthcare payment systems. The AVP will be expected to have a proven track record in performance monitoring, and reporting, and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong communication skills, the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, and a commitment to professional growth are essential. The position also involves travel to support new and existing affiliated sites.
