Overview
Registered Nurse – Radiology in Rochester, New York, begins 09/14/2026 for a 17-week travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,373 to $2,505 per week. The shift is 10-hour nights (4x10-hour nights, Monday–Thursday, no weekends, no call) in a hospital-based interventional radiology department serving inpatient and outpatient populations. This fast-paced unit provides pre-procedural preparation, post-procedural recovery, and overnight observation for interventional radiology patients, with care across imaging modalities including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray, and ultrasound.

Responsibilities
- Provide pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery for interventional radiology patients, including 23-hour observation when needed
- Care for patients boarding overnight pre- or post-procedure and monitor for stability
- Support care for IR patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, including overnight observation
- Maintain telemetry monitoring and ensure patient safety, communicating changes to the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with imaging, anesthesia, and other services to facilitate efficient, high-quality care
- Communicate clearly with patients and families; document assessments, interventions, and status changes

Requirements
- New York RN license (ONLY)
- BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry experience required
- Two (2) years of MED SURG experience
- Two (2) years of Registered IR nursing experience
- Note: No IR experience required
