Make a positive impact in educational settings by supporting the well-being and academic success of students as a School Psychologist. This is a contract position for the 26/27 school year, offering an onsite opportunity near Hamden, CT. You'll work with a diverse student population, collaborating with educators and families to assess student needs and develop effective interventions. The exact hours and caseload will be determined based on district requirements.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid CT Educator Certification is required
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in school settings preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Support students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on intervention strategies
• Consult with teachers and administrators on best practices for student support
• Participate in team meetings, share findings, and help develop solutions tailored to student needs
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
