Vesa Health & Technology is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist to provide at the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) at Joint Base San Antonio, located on Fort Sam Houston, TX. Background BAMC, a 425-bed Academic Medical Center, is the DOD’s largest in-patient hospital and only Level I Trauma Center. BAMC is staffed by more than 8,000 Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, Civilians, and contract personnel providing care to wounded Service Members and the San Antonio Community at-large. With an average of 1,500 cases per month, BAMC is the most robust and productive healthcare organization within the Military Health System (MHS). The mission of the Military Healthcare System (MHS) is to enhance our Nation’s security by ensuring the nation has a healthy military force capable of providing the full range of military operations, supported by a combat ready healthcare system sustaining the health of DoD beneficiaries. Health care services for eligible MHS beneficiaries are provided at MTFs, such as BAMC, which are located on or near military installations or posts. Qualifications Shall possess a minimum of a Master’s (Bachelors if before 2002) degree in physical therapy from a credentialed college or university Valid state physical therapy license in any of the 50 states or U.S. territories Shall have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an inpatient hospital setting with ICU/critical/trauma care experience is a MUST.
