POSITION: MARKETING ASSISTANT

STATUS: Full-time, exempt employee with full benefits package REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 10am – 6pm with flexibility to accommodate Marketing Director’s requests to attend performances, professional development sessions, and offsite conferences.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Joyce Program Book ● Oversee all aspects of The Joyce’s program book including: o Setting and overseeing deadlines o Communicating with companies and Joyce staff for content o Laying out and preparing program book file for print o Editing for grammar, clarity, and accuracy o Monitoring costs o Managing approval process o The creation of program inserts o Communicating and coordinating with printers to order program books ● Execute all aspects of The Joyce’s program book advertisement program including: o Communicating with advertisement purchasers o Updating program book advertisement specifications and rates o Creating projections for advertisement sales o Monitoring invoice, payment, and approval processes Social Media ● Execute the Marketing Manager’s overall social media strategy o Posting and maintaining The Joyce’s social media accounts o Engaging with audiences across all social media platforms o Collaborating with coworkers, dance companies/artists, and community partners to create robust content o Collecting information to provide performance analytics and feedback on social media platforms o Providing analysis reports on social media performance in support of Marketing Manager’s strategy o Conducting regular evaluation of relevant trends and ways to optimize performance ● Create content for The Joyce’s social media channels and for interdepartmental use o Capturing onsite content during Photo Calls and scheduling necessary photo and video shoots with the companies o Editing footage and photos for social media posting Community Engagement and Departmental Support

• Collect pricing information from companies
• Provide support for local community partnerships as directed by Marketing Manager
• Oversee cross-promotion initiatives

o Identifying industry partners to request support of The Joyce’s programming o Maintaining relationships with cross-promotion partners o Executing cross-promotion offers through email and social media ● Update upper lobby rack cards on a weekly basis
