A&R Discovery Intern

Job Summary TripleThreat, a fast-growing new division of Create Music Group, is looking for a passionate, organized, and team-oriented intern to join the team. This role will support artist discovery while providing hands‑on exposure to A&R, marketing, and digital rights, offering a unique opportunity to learn the inner workings of a modern music company. This is a part‑time internship designed for current students for the Summer/Fall 2026 term. Interns must be eligible to work in the U.S. and available for 10–20 hours per week over a 3-4 month period. This is a hybrid‑work role - interns must be able to report to the Los Angeles headquarters 2-3 times per week. Responsibilities A&R Research - Discovering new artists and creators using both software and personal research. Gathering data and pitching potential signings to our A&R team. Assisting on various marketing and digital rights tasks for our roster. Day‑to‑day administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Familiar with and passionate about hip hop music, culture, and content. Well-versed in internet culture/social media platforms and enjoys consuming/studying YouTube and TikTok content. Driven to pursue a career in the music/entertainment industry, preferably with relevant internship or work experience. Team player with great communication skills, and the ability to manage time wisely and stay laser-focused between tasks. Must have access to a laptop, headphones, and access to a mode of reliable transportation Must be proficient with Mac OSX, Microsoft Office, and Google Apps.
