Location: Newcastle, WY
Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Setting: Long-Term Care / Nursing Home
Shift: Days – 12-hour shifts
Hours: 36/48 hours per week guaranteed
Charting System: PointClickCare (PCC)
Pay Rate: $23–$26 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a day-shift position in a long-term care facility. The CNA will provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and support nursing staff throughout the facility.

Floating between units may be required based on staffing and facility needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents in a long-term care setting.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Take and document vital signs as required.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Complete accurate documentation using PointClickCare (PCC).
• Follow resident care plans, safety protocols, and facility policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Float between units as assigned to support staffing needs.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Previous long-term care or nursing home experience preferred.
• Temporary CNA license acceptable for submission.
• Must be willing to float between units as needed.
• Must be available to complete approximately 2–3 nights of orientation.
• Attendance is essential; more than two call-offs may be subject to termination per facility policy.
• No specific scrub color requirement.
