Assembler Position at Scotsman Ice Systems

Start your new career as an Assembler with MAU at Scotsman Ice Systems in Fairfax, SC. As an Assembler, you'll operate assembly line equipment to build products accurately, efficiently, and in line with safety standards. Scotsman Ice Systems is one of the world's largest ice system manufacturers, with more than 300 models of ice machines, storage bins, and ice and water dispensers. The company builds its equipment at its award-winning production facility in Fairfax, SC, serving food service, health care, hospitality, and beverage businesses.

What We Offer:

• Pay of $20.91 per hour

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly
• Basic mechanical knowledge (preferred)
• Ability to stand for 8 - 10 hours at a time in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Flexibility to work in other areas of the plant when builds aren't in progress
• Strong attendance and punctuality record in previous roles
• Team player with a positive attitude

What You'll Do as an Assembler:

• Operate assembly line machinery and tools
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
• Keep your workstation clean and organized
• Track parts and materials, and restock bins as needed
• Support production goals and complete builds on schedule
• Perform other tasks as assigned
