JOB PURPOSE Under minimal supervision, the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to pediatric and adult clients with speech, language, literacy, and swallowing disorders in home-based, clinic-based, and virtual settings. The SLP is expected to exercise independent clinical judgment, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, client-centered care. JOB DUTIES Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders through standardized assessments and clinical observations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of pediatric and adult clients across home-based, clinic-based, and virtual settings. Provide direct therapy services to clients using evidence-based practices that support functional communication and swallowing outcomes. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to support client progress and generalization of skills. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies. Communicate client progress and treatment outcomes effectively to families, caregivers, and other relevant stakeholders. Adapt therapy approaches and problem-solve independently in response to client needs, environmental factors, or changes in service delivery. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations regarding service provision, documentation, and licensure.
