Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - West FL Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Critical care skills; ventilator management.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Ventilator experience.

Unit Details: - Uses Servo and 840 equipment. - Neb treatments. - ABGs from A-lines and stick. - Assist in intubation, codes, and rapid responses.

Shift & Scheduling: - Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Floating Requirements: - HCA FL Largo West campus is a psych/rehab department of HCA FL Largo Main and should be treated as a float unit.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
