About the Role

Responsibilities

The Relationship team within the Funds Group contributes to Wellington Management’s mission by delivering first-class client service to clients who invest in Wellington’s sponsored funds. These clients represent endowment, foundation, family office, corporate, and public funds relationships invested in commingled pools including Wellington Managed Funds – US, Wellington Trust Company NA, Wellington Management Funds - Global, and Wellington Alternative Investments. This role will focus on clients invested within Wellington Alternatives Investment Funds (Hedge and Privates).

The Fund Relationship Analyst will work as part of a team responsible for but not limited to: act as a central point of contact to facilitate and coordinate communication between the Client Group and the Funds Group, coordination of client account openings and closings, client reporting requirements with the fund reporting team, responsible for protecting the validity and accuracy of the client data, RFIs, cash flows, capital calls, distributions and other direct client interactions on servicing items. To accomplish these responsibilities, the Funds Relationship Analyst is expected to partner closely with other parts of the business to ensure the client’s requirements are met.

Specific responsibilities may include: 

• Coordinate administrative aspects of onboarding/offboarding of fund investors

• Contribute to fund investor specific projects, including system enhancements and process improvements

• Oversee coordination of fund-related queries (e.g.,dealing dates,tax, reporting, statements)

• Communicate fund-related information to investors

• Provide support to fund investors for client portal access, passwordresetsetc.

• Supportfund documentation changes

• Complete recurring tasks such asoperational due diligence questionnaires andrequests for information

• Coordinate new deliverables viathe delivery management platform and/orwith Fund Reportingteamincluding documentation of procedures

Qualifications/Attributes

The ideal candidate for the role will have:

• Minimum2years of experience, ideallyin the investment management industry,in areas ofclient serviceoroperations

• Strong relationship building and collaboration skillsand thecuriosityto learn

• Sound business judgementandthe ability to synthesize complex issues and effectively balance competingobjectivesand risks, and the ability to think creativelyto solve business problems for clients

• Strong communicationand presentation skills

• Project management skills, influencing,team-orientation,consensusbuilding,and strongquantitative,writtenand verbal communication skills

• IT skillssuch as python coding or SQL are an advantage

• Acollegedegree isrequired

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:

USD 80,000 - 150,000

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
