Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center offers hope and healing for youth ages 7 to 17 with various psychiatric diagnoses and/or developmental disabilities. Located in Portsmouth, VA, Harbor Point provides intensive, residential treatment in a comfortable setting conducive to healing. The facility specializes in treating children and adolescents with depression, bipolar, ADHD, and other mental health issues, as well as specific programs for intellectual disabilities or self‑injurious behavior. Harbor Point is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Educational Facilities, licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and the Virginia Department of Education, and TRICARE®‑approved. Website : Qualifications A combination of mental health experience and relevant education to deliver psychotherapy services to consumers. An individual must be able to perform each essential function of the job satisfactorily. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with appropriate populations. Licensed as a LPC, LCSW, LMSW or LCP by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
