Position Overview
As an Electrical Superintendent, you'll lead electrical field operations on assigned projects and be responsible for turning project plans, schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment into safe, productive, inspection-ready electrical work.
You'll oversee jobsite safety, installation production, field schedule execution, quality control, inspections, material coordination, and crew leadership while working closely with the Project Manager.
The right candidate will be an experienced electrical field leader who can plan the work, lead people, anticipate problems, maintain productivity and quality, and communicate issues early enough to keep projects moving.
What You'll Do

- Plan and direct daily and weekly field operations, including manpower assignments, production goals, installation sequencing, materials, tools, and equipment
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, one-lines, panel schedules, equipment submittals, and installation requirements before work begins

- Lead field installation of power distribution, feeders, branch circuits, conduit systems, lighting and controls, grounding and bonding, panels, transformers, switchgear, generators, automatic transfer switches, and EV charging systems as applicable
- Ensure electrical work complies with applicable NEC requirements, approved project documents, manufacturer requirements, AHJ requirements, company standards, and safe work practices
- Maintain inspection readiness through field quality-control checks, proper layout, supervision, field verification, and early correction of deficiencies
- Coordinate electrical activities with Project Managers, general contractors, other trades, inspectors, utilities, vendors, equipment manufacturers, and client representatives
- Plan material and equipment requirements early enough to support production and protect schedule
- Monitor field productivity and understand how manpower, sequencing, rework, materials, and other field decisions affect project cost and margin
- Provide accurate field information, schedule updates, three-week look-aheads, daily reports, production tracking, photographs, and other required documentation
- Identify potential change conditions, added work, scope conflicts, and field impacts and communicate them promptly to the Project Manager
- Lead schedule-recovery efforts, punch-list completion, testing, commissioning support, closeout, turnover, and warranty field activities
- Train, mentor, and develop Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians while identifying future field leaders
- Maintain a jobsite culture built around safety, craftsmanship, accountability, teamwork, ownership, and professional conduct
