About the Role:

Kids Place LLC in Fishkill, NY is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Toddler Teacher to join their dedicated early childhood team! Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for toddler-aged children
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily updates
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Maintain accurate developmental records, attendance, and documentation
• Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting, preferably with toddlers
• Knowledge of NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulations
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and support a team-oriented environment
• Genuine passion for early childhood development and education
