Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience with triage and emergency department patient flow
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to care for patients across the lifespan, including pediatrics and adults
• Comfort working variable evening and night shifts
• Availability to work weekends as scheduled
• Ability to float within the hospital as needed to support unit needs
• Reliable transportation required for this travel nursing assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with a wide range of emergency and urgent care needs
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies according to clinical standards
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including dysrhythmias and critical events
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely care
• Perform and document nursing interventions accurately in Epic
• Maintain safe, efficient patient flow while supporting a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Deliver compassionate emergency care to infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients
• Support emergency department procedures and unit initiatives as assigned
