CT Technologist

This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in radiology and computed tomography (CT), to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Include Providing safe, age-appropriate patient care by accurately performing exams according to department protocols. Setting up equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Verifying patient identity, reviewing clinical histories, and adhering to safety and sterile techniques. Responding to emergencies, maintaining equipment, and documenting procedures thoroughly. Communicating clearly with patients, explaining procedures, and addressing questions to reduce anxiety. Assisting in training colleagues and supporting departmental operations, including restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness. Ensuring compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements, including timely image submission and equipment calibration. Qualifications And Skills Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion. Certifications: ARRT-Radiography, ARRT-CT, and BLS required at hire. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred. Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently, under pressure, and as part of a team. Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control procedures.
