We're looking for a Community Operations Coordinator to join our team at Mariposa, a master-planned community in Rio Rancho where breathtaking natural landscapes, outdoor recreation, and a strong sense of community come together to create an exceptional place to live.
In this role, you'll help preserve the community experience residents value every day by leading community compliance efforts, coordinating the Design Review process, supporting community governance, and partnering with residents and stakeholders to maintain the standards that make Mariposa a desirable place to live.

What You'll Do
Lead Community Compliance Efforts
- Support community standards through inspections, communication, and follow-up with homeowners
- Promote understanding and support for community guidelines through education, relationship-building, and proactive outreach
- Coordinate compliance activities and help ensure timely resolution of community concerns
- Foster community pride and stewardship while maintaining a harmonious living environment
- Serve as the primary coordinator for Design Review applications and approvals
- Guide homeowners through the Design Review process and community requirements
- Prepare Design Review Committee agendas and support committee meetings
- Communicate committee decisions and ensure accurate documentation and follow-up
Support Community Governance & Operations
- Assist with Board of Directors meetings, agendas, communications, reporting, and related administrative functions
- Maintain association records and support governance activities
- Coordinate operational projects, vendor activities, and maintenance concerns
- Assist with contractor and vendor management and project follow-up
Support Residents & Community Stakeholders
- Serve as a trusted resource for residents, board members, vendors, and community partners
- Respond to inquiries and help ensure requests are directed and resolved efficiently
- Support resident onboarding and welcome initiatives
- Build positive relationships throughout the community while delivering exceptional customer service
Foster Community Engagement
- Support volunteer committees and resident-led initiatives
- Assist with community events, programs, and outreach efforts
- Help create meaningful opportunities for residents to connect with one another and their community
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, authentic relationships, meaningful connection, and balance
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, administration, operations, project coordination, community management, or a related field
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on complex projects
- Confidence learning and using technology platforms, databases, and workflow management systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with residents, volunteers, vendors, and team members
- Experience supporting meetings, committees, governance functions, or board operations preferred
- Community association, HOA, property management, or community governance experience preferred but not required
Additional Requirements
- This is an onsite position based within the Mariposa community
- Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with occasional evening meetings and community events
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to conduct community inspections and travel throughout the community as needed
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
