Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in the operating room, upholding patient safety and comfort.
- Assist the surgical and anesthesia teams, maintain sterile technique, and manage instrumentation and counts (sponge/needle management).
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document events, and respond rapidly to any changes in patient condition.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, IV access, monitoring, and equipment setup; support efficient turnover between cases.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating staff; communicate clearly to support patient care continuity.
- Exposure to Level 1 trauma procedures; burn case experience is preferred; participate in required call coverage, including weekends and holidays.

- Previous travel nursing experience
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Burn experience preferred
- OR nursing experience
- Availability for call, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a hospital operating room environment
