Harbert College of Business Student Employment The Harbert College of Business is currently accepting applications for motivated, hard-working and detail-oriented student employees to perform a variety of office and event support duties within the Operations Department in support of all departments and centers in the College of Business. Responsibilities Essential Functions Conduct weekly inventory checks of classroom furniture and chairs, noting any maintenance needs. Perform weekly cleaning and basic upkeep of classroom technology and equipment, including computers, keyboards, and related items. Monitor the condition of facilities and grounds to ensure janitorial and maintenance services are completed as needed. Deliver classroom suppliessuch as markers, erasers, and whiteboard cleanersweekly to all study areas, classrooms, and team rooms. Relocate furniture for events or office reconfigurations, and pack items for moving or storage as required. Assist with moving and lifting items under 25 lbs. independently, and up to 50 lbs. with assistance. Transport linens to storage or designated delivery locations. Support the Events team with setup and breakdown, including arranging chairs, tables, staging, podiums, linens, and other equipment. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Enrolled undergraduate student at Auburn University Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Expectations: Arrive promptly for shifts dressed in provided uniform, presenting a professional appearance and enthusiastic attitude. Demonstrate strong organizational and documentation skills to support daily responsibilities. Maintain open availability between 7:45 AM and 4:45 PM to support operational and event needs.
