What You'll Work On:
- Support the development and enhancement of secure enterprise applications, automation tools, and workflows on AWS Cloud.
- Build and refine automation using scripting languages such as Python or Bash to improve repeatability and operational efficiency.
- Assist with deployment validation, configuration assessments, patching workflows, and release readiness across enterprise environments.
- Troubleshoot and analyze system, application, and network issues, contributing to root-cause analysis and reliability improvements.
- Stand up isolated test environments to validate configuration changes, ensure interoperability, and support rollback planning.
- Monitor logs, telemetry, and system-health indicators to identify risks, guide remediation, and support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, cybersecurity, and mission teams, contributing to a culture anchored in values, clarity, and impact as reflected in Booz Allen's employee-experience initiatives.
- Document technical procedures, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and operational standards to support continuity and team readiness.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud environments such as AWS
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages including Python, Ansible, Bash, and JavaScript
- 2+ years of experience supporting CI/CD or DevSecOps-aligned build, release, or configuration management
- Experience troubleshooting across systems, networks, or application layers
- Ability to interpret logs, metrics, and telemetry to identify issues and support data-driven resolution
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively and aligned with Booz Allen's values-driven delivery culture
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with cloud environments, programming languages, and supporting CI/CD or DevSecOps-aligned build, release, or configuration management or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Engineering and 3+ years of experience with cloud environments, programming languages, and supporting CI/CD or DevSecOps-aligned build, release, or configuration management
- Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, or software products
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native engineering patterns
- Experience conducting security testing or supporting compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001
- Experience producing technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides for operational teams
- Cloud Certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
