Starling Physicians is seeking Physician Assistant to support the physicians of our Orthopedic practice.
Job Description
Monday through Friday. Provide orthopedic care in both clinical and surgical settings. First and/or Second Assist in the Operating Room. Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, physical exams, diagnostic assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans. Provides pre-and post-operative care and patient education to patients. Enters, reviews and updates orders. Perform joint injections, aspirations, and other in-office orthopedic procedures. Educate patients and families about orthopedic conditions, recovery, and treatment options. Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRIs, labs) to support accurate diagnoses. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Board Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA). Active CT PA license. CT Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification.
