Job Overview A law firm seeks a full‑time Litigation Attorney in Ithaca, NY. The ideal candidate will be a New York State admitted attorney with over three years of experience in litigation. The firm is dedicated to client relationships and meeting the needs of individual, business, and municipal clients. Duties Draft legal documents, including motions, discovery, and pleadings. Conduct depositions and appear for oral arguments. Negotiate settlements and advise clients. Perform legal research and draft Memoranda of Law. Oversee consultations with potential clients. Handle hearings, arbitrations, and trials. Requirements Current New York Bar admission. 3+ years of litigation experience required. Strong desire to further legal skills. Education Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Certifications New York Bar admission. Skills Ability to manage situations requiring diplomacy and sound judgment. Excellent verbal communication and advocacy skills. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively in person, by email, and telephone.
